DHCP Option 160

DHCP Option 160 can be used to provision phones with firmware and configuration files. When the phones are restarted or powered up and connected to the network, they are automatically provisioned with their firmware file and configuration files. The phone(DHCP client) sends a DHCP request to the DHCP server to obtain networking information (e.g., the device's IP address) and the Provisioning Server URL.

To point DHCP Option 160 to a customer URL:
1. In the Services page, select your , copy the Service Device URL. For example: https://<Live Platform Server FQDN>.com/ltcfordevice/c/<customerAzureId>/

2. On the DHCP Server, paste the Service Device URL value.
3. Proceed to Approving Users.
